ENGLISH BULLDOGS OF ROYSE HIGHLANDS

Purchase Contract

  1. Health guarantee

All puppies are guaranteed to be in good health, free from visible infection and contagious diseases at the time of purchase. Each puppy will undergo a veterinary examination at the Breeder's clinic before going to their new home.

  2. Veterinary examination

Buyer must have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within three (3) days of receipt, excluding Sundays and holidays. Within 24 hours of the exam, Buyer must email the Breeder the results and all veterinary documents. Any health issue must be reported within two (2) days to maintain this guarantee.

  3. Genetic health replacement guarantee

If the puppy dies within one (1) year from birth due to a hereditary or genetic condition, the Breeder listed on AKC documents will replace the puppy with one of comparable value within six (6) months. Buyer is responsible for all related shipping costs. If Buyer declines replacement, the Breeder's obligation ends and no refund will be issued.

  4. Coverage and exclusions

The guarantee covers only the original purchase price. Any difference for a higher-priced replacement, shipping, health certificates, and additional fees is Buyer's responsibility. This guarantee is non-transferable. All puppies are sold as non-breeding pets; no guarantees are made regarding breeding potential, size, conformation, temperament, coloration, or markings.

  5. Common conditions and routine care

Common health issues-including cherry eye, elongated soft palate, entropion, dermatological problems, and tear staining-are not covered. Veterinary costs for routine care, including spaying or neutering, are Buyer's responsibility.

  6. Shipping and transport

Transport is arranged through third-party carriers. The Breeder is not liable for delays, injuries, or damage during transit due to logistics, weather, or other factors. Shipping is arranged as soon as practical, though the Breeder or veterinarian may delay travel for health reasons. If a replacement is issued, the original puppy must be returned at Buyer's expense.

  7. Care instructions and requirements

Bulldogs should never be left in temperatures above 70°F without air-conditioning. Use harnesses only, not collars, and do not over-exercise puppies during growth. Failure to follow these care instructions may void the guarantee.

  8. Deposit and cancellation policy

All deposits are non-refundable. If no puppy is available, the deposit may be transferred to the next litter.

  9. Governing law

This contract is governed by the laws of Kaufman County, Texas, and supersedes all prior agreements.
